Since I don't have any fish in my tank, and don't expect to have any for a few more weeks, is it a good idea to crank up my pressurized CO2 until my drop checker turns yellow, and then dial it back to green when I'm ready to add fish? Or is it better to avoid fluctuations of this kind? I was thinking that if I turn up the CO2 now, I could maybe accelerate some early plant growth.... but then will the plants have trouble adjusting when I turn the CO2 down again in a few weeks?

I turn mine up when there is no fish in there, I seem to get good growth when the levels are high. Night time is still useless though.
