I've decided for my next project I'm going to upgrade and modify my existing 55 gallon mixed planted into a 93 gallon (30*30*24) Amazonian paludarium. This is large enough to have a good sized land and water segment, but small enough that I'll be able to lift it empty and maneuver it through the house (and probably lift it myself - given it's a cube it should only weigh 25% more than a 55 gallon tank.

I'm fairly far along in the planning stages. One thing I'm wondering is the feasibility of using CO2 for this setup. I probably will add dart frogs to the setup eventually (though not until it has grown in for at least six months. Because of this, there must be a mostly airtight top, with perhaps a small screened area in the back. I'm concerned the CO2 levels in the tank will build up in the air to toxic levels.

Does anyone have experience with CO2 in a paludarium?
