Hello,

I am building a 90L planted tank and would like something cheap for a CO2 system apart from a DIY yeast. I was wondering which one should I get:

1. Tetra co2 optimat - 18 EURO replacement bottle 8 EURO
2. Fluval Mini co2 reactor - 120 EURO replacement bottle 18 EURO
3. Sera CO2 system without PH controller - 340 EURO
4. DIY CO2 - have no idea on how to do it or if I can get what I need

I dont want to spend alot of money but I dont want to waste money on something it will not work so if the 3rd option is the one that will work then so be it.

Please advise.

For a small 20 something gallon tank I would go with DYI Co2. Or you can go with the DYI Paintball systems. (look in the DIY section)

Option 2 or 4 is the way I would go. There are some great DIY CO2 threads here so that should get you going on option 4.
