Sure but it would still not be efficient enough. If you want a cheap method then break off a cheap $1store wooden chopstick end and stick it in the tubing end. That should keep your bubbles tiny for a while.On the diffuser front for a 20 gallon with DIY yeast would it be enough to seal the end of the air tube and then put pin holes in it?
