So i build a co2 set up this weekend for my tank and I got everything working just how I want it.....EXCEPT diffusion, so last night I took and ran the tube which the co2 bubbles come out of and I connected it to the intake of my HOB filter in hopes that the bubble gets sucked up and broken up by the propeller and then thrown back into the water.....Is this dumb or am I maybe on to something lol..

People have done and do this, but it is hard on the impeller is what I hear. Maybe an airstone would work.

HOB filters tend to splash water with the return waterfall. This liberates the dissolved CO2, leaving you back where you started. If you keep the tank water level high, and/or use other methods for getting the water back to the tank with no splashing, that can work, but not nearly as efficient as other methods.

shove a disposable chopstick in the air tubing then break off about an inch leaving it in the tubing for a temp fix. Look up the chopstick diffusion for a picture til you find a diffuser =)
