I have a heavily planted 18 gallon tank. I am using diy co2. My tank is full of tiny bubbles coming off the plants. I have a spraybar and mini powerhead for movement. I also have a co2 indicator that stays in the green (has never gone to yellow). I change it about every 14 days when the indicator starts showing blue. There are so many bubbles that they accumulate at the top of the tank. Does anyone else have this happen. My plants, fish and shrimp are all doing great.

It's suppose to bubble... That's your plant producing O2 when it's doing its photosynthesis thing...

Just watch your ferts... Plants will use up a lot of nutrients when this happens and you'll have to replenish them.

Thanks for the reply. I know its suppose to bubble, but does anyone else have it creating a film of bubbles on top of the water.

thats surface scum trapping the bubbles...yes lots of people have it search surface scum to pull up some threads on it
