I know many kinda set and forget bubble rates, but mine seem to vary considerably depending upon the diffusers I use. One apparently has greater resistance than the other. I use two Intense diffusers from GLA to swap during cleanings and run between 45-50 psi. Anyone else experiencing this and having to readjust after swapping diffusers? Wanting halfway consistent levels without too much tinkering every few weeks.

Assuming you don't have a leak, yes, it pretty much mirrors my experience with several of them. None of them have exactly the same cracking pressure, and every time I tweaked anything in the system (including removing to clean) I had to readjust.

No leaks that I could find, anyway.

Interesting. Didn't realize they were quite this variable. I know my regulator and needle valve are both very solid and consistent, so definitely must be these diffusers.

Good to know others have similar experience. Thanks for the reply.
