I know running CO2 through vinyl tubing can turn it white and brittle. Does anyone have experience with CO2 negatively impacting acrylic tanks??

dont think the concentration would be high enough in your tank water to damage your tank unless youve long since killed all your fish

...sounds unlikely

Been running co2 on my acrylic tank since May with no sign of such an issue. I also doubt that the concentration would be nearly high enough to cause any problems along those lines.

what is the time frame for the tubing to become brittle? I use plastic/vinyl and have had no signs of whitening or becoming brittle. I figured that I wouldn't go with the Co2 tubing until my plastic tubing gave way.
not sure... but i had some tubing being used for 6-8 months or so and noticed that i wasnt getting any co2 into the tank b/c the tubing got weak and crimped at a bend.

the co2 tubing is much thicker
