I just recently got a clown loach and it doesn't seem to want to eat. Ive tried many things, like both frozen&freeze-dried bloodworms, sinking foods, flakes, etc.. but it doesn't eat. Could there be a reason for this that I am unaware of?

In addition to those questions, how are your water parameters? Temp, pH, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates?

Some fish can be shy, switch off the lights and it may feel more secure to come out and eat. use sinking food.

They need to be kept in groups, could be part of it. People sometimes use 'dither' fish to get them to come out, as they can be shy when young. It will eventually need a huge tank. Subdued lighting, extra clean water,circulated well oxygenated water.You might try feeding him at night. Info here:

sinking tabs,hikari wafers,mine even eat massivore and carnivore tabs.they can get to 1 foot hope u got a fat tank and like3plus so they can loach together
