Just curious how I can get rid of my cloudy water. I've put a bag of fluval clear as into my 221 on my 25g cube. All parameters are normal. Ammonia 0 nitrate 20ppm nitrite 0 ph 6…4

Nothing is new with the tank. Nothing has been changed either. I put the clear max in the canister this. Morning and just got home from work. No change

How long has the tank been setup? Bacterial bloom? Green water in this tank yet.

Diatom filters are wonderful tools. Occasionally I will hook mine up stir the tank up real good to get the detritus and mulm in the water column. Few hours later and presto all the nasty stuff is in my diatom filter. It isn't something I use all the time but was a great investment.

Everything from this tank was a swap over from my 55g. Filter substrate plants etc. all readings are normal as far as ammonia nitrite and nitrate. My biological filtration is running well. I'm considering it as a bacterial bloom. Green water is not an option as when I pull water out in a clear gallon just it appears clear. No tint to the water. I'm going to let it sort itself out.

It should clear up in couple of days. I am thinking your BB took a hit during the move over.

The thing is. The move over happen about two to three months ago. This is recent,

If the water looks like haze / fog then it sounds like a classic bacterial bloom (some good articles on the web), cause being the same - your BB is out to lunch. Increasing surface agitation / water aeration would be my first step.
