So I ordered six ET-2M solenoids, and the guy sent them to me without the base (the part that has the writing ET-2M). He later sent it to me, and there's no internal parts, like the washer and that other disc. My other orders all have them. He told me that they never came with them. These parts are necessary, correct?

Yes those parts are necessary. Ask him for a refund.

REJECT! In fact the company recommends that the solenoid should not be taken apart, only loosened to enough to rotate if needed.
