Cleaning white film from inside of tank?

I have a hard white film on the inside of my tank from the water running low a few times and not being topped off. A normal cleaning pad won't take it off. Anything I can do to try and remove it without having to tear the tank down?

lower your water level and use a scrubby with vinegar . Try not to let it drip back into the tank

if its a glass tank, you can also use a razor blade to scrape it off

Thanks, I have a water change to do Sunday so while the water is out I'll see what I can do. It is glass and I was thinking razor blade but wanted to get some opinions.
