Hi

I just broke down my 20L and am planning to wash and save the substrate. I'm thinking of rinsing until clear, then letting it sit overnight in water with some bleach in it, then drain and let it sit in water with dechlorinator for a while, draining, and let dry. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this? I'm not planning on using the gravel soon and I figure the bleach/water will kill any algae spores and bacteria.

I think rinsing until it's clear, and letting it sit outside to fully dry would be good enough. Once it's completely dry, and algae or bacteria will die anyway.
