I was wondering the best way to clean acrylic...my tank has been empty for a couple of months and there is like dead algae or mineral deposites on the walls...this was a saltwater tank before so it could be mineral deposites. it scrapes off with my finger but it would take forever...any ideas on how to take it off without scratching the acrylic? thanks for the help in advance

Fill it up with water. Throw in a bottle of vinegar. Let sit. Drain, wipe.

I used straight vinegar the hardwater stains come right off. No need to soak. Plus if you dilute it you would have to allow it to saok for days.

Fill a spray bottle with staight vinegar, spray on, wipe with a soft cloth like a diaper.
