I have never had a tank this big before so im out of my depth so to speak.
Just wondering do i still do 50% water changes on on the new 60 gallon tank or do i do less? Is it harder to clean or the same?Anything special i need to do? Algae is taken care of because of my ottos but because i have dwarf puffers i have been told to do around 50% weekly due to them being SO messy:)

Title says 20g but you mention 60g. Which is it? Either way 25-50% is fine for a WC

Personally I never change more then 20%. I usually do 10% two or three times a week.

But to anwser your question, it makes no difference how big your tank is the maintenance is the same.

I just use the gravel siphon to remove the water and clean up those usual areas where debris settles. Give the front and side glass a scrub, refill and call it good, I clean my canister filter about once a month.

If you're breeding, say, some remote, rare tetra from western Africa, then you should probably think about large water changes. But for a typical community setup, 25% should be fine.
