I've come across two 'affordable' clamp on LED lights and I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them. They look like they could do low to low-med plants but I'd like some reviews before taking the dive into LED.

Here's the stock photos of the LED lights in question

SPECS:
Length: 12 3/4 inches long
Width: 1 1/4 inches wide
Watts: 7.2 watts over 21 white leds and 3 blue leds.

These lights would be used to replace a Fluval 13watt PC clamp lamp and possibly an old school Current USA 1x 18watt PC light. I like them mainly due to how they can be installed on a tank. Any feedback or comments are greatly appreciated.

Those cheap chinese clamp on LED lights are surprisingly good value. Go for the ones with more LED's and you'll be safe. Mine was growing moss really well, and did a really good job of growing ivy and jasmine hydroponically. The jasmine even continued to flower.

But be warned... get something with an actual switch you can flip. I got the ones with just a push button to cycle through the on/moonlight/off. That push button does not work with a timer!!!
