Ever since my a-little-less-than-adequate Maxi-jet 400 powerhead up and died on me, I've been debating replacing it with a koralia nano. However, I can't decide if the 425 gph model will be absolutely too much flow, and I should stick to the 240 -- I have a bunch of frogbit in the tank, and it's also a total stem/water sprite jungle at the moment. I don't want everything getting torn up by the roots or bent over, but I do want better circulation (for CO2 and general waterflow -- my penn plax 1000 canister isn't doing too well even with a cleaned impeller). Can anybody comment on which of these circulation pumps might be better for my setup?

And crypts are pretty short, usually, right? So therefore if I have any tall stems whatsoever, best to stick with the 240?

:)

Thanks!
