I would say probably not. I have a hard time growing it in anything above 78degrees.

Generally in warm water it browns out. A good moss for warmer water is weeping moss (Vesicularia ferriei).

I just posted about this a couple days ago.

My water temp is usually 80-82 and all three types of my mosses either didn't grow or died off..

Flame moss simply did not grow

Christmas and Taiwan moss (which I had plenty of) died off.

It actually looks disgusting when moss starts dying off...nothing like the beautiful moss tanks I've seen on the net.

My guess was it was temp related and I just confirmed it with a reputable LFS....mosses flourish in lower temps...low 70s ideally.

Well, I guess I'll expect to see my moss die. Darn it! I'll look for some weeping moss and give it a try. Is that the only moss that would do okay on the warmer temps?
