I don't know if I should change out the bulb on my 29g tank. There is a single T8 florescent tube. I have basic low light plants, no CO2, no ferts.

Right now I have an Aqueon Daylight 8000k. I have no other specs on it, and have no idea if its strong enough to even be considered low light.

At my lfs, I have been looking at three different bulbs (all Hagen). Aqua-Glo, Power-Glo and Life-Glo. I've read recommendations about good combos, but is one of those a good all around bulb? Are any of those better then what I already have?

Thanks!

I'm using 4 T8's over my 72 right now. Two are Phillips 6500K and the other two are GE 6500K. I really like the light that they put out. It's very pleasing to my eyes. The greens really POP! Plus you can get them at Lowes or Home Depot (not sure if you have these in the North?), so they are a little cheaper.

Don't get the plant and aquarium bulb from Phillips though! It's way too orange/red. I have it over my grow out tank. It's a very "ugly" light color.
