Cholla Cactus skeleton wood is it safe in a Planted fish tank?

I've seen it used in a few tanks, looks good in them also. There are some lfs around here that sell it.

I have seen in my LFS. I think it might work with the Kuhli's I get this week. All those holes to go in and out. It is large enough at the ends that my brigs might be able to go into also. I just did not know if it produce any harmful toxins.
