Let’s take a journey into the world of ChickenFish, a natural subtle substrate of Safe T Sorb. Although the Glowlight Tetra’s would like to think they reign supreme, the Swordtail almost outnumber them. This world of wonder is primarily shades of greens and brown, making the hardscape standout in this ten gallon tank environment. In creating a natural environment filled with plant life and fish, I have used artificial lighting to enhance plant growth and a warm feel to the tank space. The T8 Shop lighting is a fluorescent light that highlight the Glowlight Tetra and Swordtail. In the future, I will continue to add more plants into my tank environment to create a more tropical feel but keeping a natural and realistic space.

I love what you guys are doing! Good luck with your tank and tell the teacher that RWaters says hello. I may have some more plants to send in the near future.

Thanks RWaters! You might recognize some of the features of this tank! There's an air-driven filter in here and a really nice piece of cypress knee.







The breeder cage is for a little lonely baby swordtail. He made it through Christmas break. Now it's time to fatten him up!

QUICK UPDATE During the time while I was not posting I have updated my tank rearranging my wood putting in some new java fern.
