WABI-KUSA WORKSHOP - MARCH 18TH.

Our next event will be a Wabi-kusa Workshop to be held on March 18 from 1:30 - 3:30 at the Garfield Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Avenue, Chicago, IL.

Wabi-kusa are balls of substrate that are covered with plants that are grown in their terrestrial form. These substrate balls are placed directly into a small glass container with some water and then allowed to grow naturally. Substrate ball materials and aquatic plants will be provided along with instruction on how to create and care for this low maintenance living piece of art. Please bring your own container or dish to hold the wabi-kusa when completed.

Entrance to the event is $5 or free for members who have already paid the annual club dues ($15/year). The entrance fee covers the creation of one wabi-kusa ball with plants.

Please RSVP at [email protected].
