Did you test the water? If so what were the results? How many shrimp are still alive? Is the betta the only other tankmate? What is the tank size and type of filtration?
cherries dying for some reason
hi there i was hoping that theres someone here who could tell me why my shrimp are dying and if it could be the excel i'm using? i did a water change yesterday and when i got home today there are three dead. my betta could be the culprit but he generally ignores them. i'll be doing a water change now to try fix the problem as i dont want to lose all of them, they incredibly rare here. is there anything else i could do?

Your betta killed them. Pull the betta out quick, put him into a vase or bucket.
