Chemipure/carbon interfere with co2?

On the box for chemi pure, in its list of unwanted things it removes from your water, it lists co2... Is this true at all? Does anyone run the stuff in their planted tanks with pressurized co2? I just added a co2 system to my tank and am not noticing any improvement in the first week, wonderkng if maybe my chemi pure is the culprit. 4 bulbs of t5 on a 2 foot high tank...

UM no. carbon will not remove a dissolved gas

u may not be injecting enough c02, and on a side note plants take about 2 weeks to show any changes based on what u've done different

do you fertilize as well?
