All right, what's the cheapest way to setup a nano that can grow ground cover? I'm talking top to bottom, the goal would be to be able to grow a full tank of groundcover and a few easy to grow tanks.

I'm thinking of something for the office that'll be easy and inexpensive. CO2 and light seem to be the biggest challenges.

Also, what sizes are the easiest to outfit filter wise?

Ignoring the intangibles like time and frustration? What kind of groundcover do you want? I'm finished trying to save a few bucks on equipment, but for conversation's sake:

Tank: standard 10 gallon - $10
Filter: HOB, used - $10-$15
Lighting: 36 watt retrofit PC kit w/ 6700k bulb - $58 (may be able to find used)
CO2: 2 liter bottles - $5 or less
Substrate: 1 bag of flourite - $15 (or use whatever you already have on hand)

Total ~ $100
