Hi all,

Today I saw one of my juvenile CBS on its side after it moulted. I thought it was dead, so I went to take it out, but it flicked away and landed on its back out in the open.

It's legs are moving as if its trying to grab something and occasionally the swimmerets move.

What do I do :(? I really dont want to lose this guy, but it seems like I've already lost him. I don't know what happened...his shell looks like it was a full, successful moult.

Alright, another one is down. Definitely not the moulting.

I did emergency action mode: small water change, added prime, put carbon in filter.

My temp is 79 since we have a heat wave right now...can that seriously kill a CBS? I'm cooling portions of water with some ice...
