Looks great! I really like all of the driftwood.

However, have you tried flipping the long piece of wood on the far right side over, so the flat "stump" part is in the substrate?

Hello:

That side is for Amblydoras, Agamixis and Acanthodoras. those fishes sleep all the day here. The driftwood has many holes for them.

The filter zone is covered for this driftwood and plants.

Thanks for your coment.

Hello:

Thanks for your words. This is a 54 Gallons Tank.

Very nice tank. You have alot of water being filtered. Any particular reason?
My guess is because some of his catfish may be putting out a ton of waste?
I absolutely love this tank. I wouldn't change a thing about it :)
Very nice tank! I bet you will be ready for a much larger tank very soon!!
Those catfish look fat and happy. Great looking tank.
great tank, and lostttt of hiding room. The tank looks empty till feeding time!!

Must be a bit scary seeing then peeking in the shadows.
Them cats are fatttt!! How big are they. And what are you feeding them?

Hello

Thank you very much for your comment.
I have two reasons to use two filters: Plants and Water Quality.
Plants: I do not want to have areas without water flow. The filter is connected to a PVC tube with four outputs. These outputs cover the lower area.
Water Quality: The second filter is in charge of water flow on the surface.
In conclusion, we have two streams of water covering different areas of the aquarium to meet specific needs.

How long have you had this set up? Those fish are amazing.

Thank you very much for your words.

Hello:

They eat every 2 days.
Chicken breast, SERA O-NIP and MASSIVORE HIKARY
all mixed and ground as a hamburger. Sometimes mixed with spinach.

Beautiful tank! It really does look like the edge of a riverbank.

Hello
Thank you very much for your comment. In fact, my next project is an approximately 200-gallon tank. This will be strictly Amazonian biotope

I Grew up in Trinidad and the river banks there looked exactlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy like this tank.. There were men who would fish for Plecos (hugeee 12" ones) . They would stick their bare hands into holes and undes driftwood and foliage to pull them out, i was expecting them to pull out a snake, camain or less fingers.

Or they would dive down with just a mask and a speargun for a fish the locals called a "Wahbeen" (looks something like a Snakehead)Might even be a sort of Pike Cichlid just darker in color and i have seen them as long as 24". Gooood eating too! lol .This was about 15 years ago. I went back home a few years ago and this is not the case. Sadly Very little fish to be found now.

I'll see if i can either get a pic or correct name for it.

Either way this tank is a picture perfect reminder of that experience!

Quick question, are these cats wild caught locally? If not where do you source them?
