I'm planning on doing a 55 gallon tank. As of right now, I've got just the hood lights that came with it, 2 55w 6500k bulbs. I may buy a 2 bulb t5 fixture to supplement this if I have the money for it. Anyway, I'd like to know what kind of plants could give the look of carpeting (something similar to HC or riccia) that will grow fairly easily with these light conditions. I'm new to planted tanks, so I think I should start with easier to grow plants. Thanks!
