Hi guys,

No matter where i look I cant seem to find fluorescent tubes for sale that are within the range of 5500-10000k. My current tubes above my 75g are getting old and are looking dull and yellowish. So my question is where do you guys find your tubes ? If it helps im in Australia

What size / type? ie; t#?,12, 8, 5 + length helps.

whoops should have added that, I have 2 40w t8s & 2 28w t5s. All are 4ft

The listed 40w T8 bulbs are either T8 or 40w LOL
T8 4' bulbs are 32w, T12 are 40w :smile:

either way and never minding that hehe (trying to be funny)

T8 = GE Sunshine F32T8 5000K cri: 86
or GE Daylight F32T8 6500K cri: 75
T12 = GE Sunshine F40T12 5000K cri: 86
or GE Daylight F40T12 6500K cri: 75

Large home improvement or hardware stores carry these.

Just purchased these and believe them to be new on the market.
Aqueon Full Spectrum Daylight 8000K, T8, 48", 32watt.

These are marketed for the pet trade and I purchased mine online.

hope this helps. may be more types out there for sale but have these in hand knowing they can be found.

Those aqueon ones are available at petsmart now... or at least in my area.. Not sure what stores you have in Australia... But they seem to be popping up in whatever large chain has a contract with them... Also some random stores.. dont know if you know what Sears is, have them.... My large home improvement stores dont carry anything like that for some reason... but yours might... He is much more knowledgeable than me though lol..
