I have pellia (or subwassertang?) and Fissidens splachnobryoides coming in the mail, ordered for me as a gift.
Are these plants demanding as far as light, co2, and ferts go?
I dose excel and ferts right now and will soon have diy Co2, I'm afraid these plants might melt.

Thanks!

Not really. They do break off and tend to get all over the place but otherwise it's an easy plant to grow. This is probably one of the most interesting plants to grow emersed though. It has a very interesting emersed reproductive form.

Which do you refer to, the pellia or the fissidens?
Or maybe you mean both?

Pellia grows in a bowl in front of a shaded window at my house. Slow grower, breaks apart easy in lots of current but super undemanding. Fissidens also is a little more fragile to current when compared to other mosses but also undemanding.

I've heard of some plants melting because they could'nt tolerate high amounts of Co2 or ferts.
Are pellia or fissidens like this? I'm concerned about them not doing well in this set up since they are so undemanding.
