My shrimp tank is infested with these tiny white worms. They are hair thin and the largest one are only about 1/8" long. I dont believe they are planaria because they dont have a triangle shaped head and dont look like any pictures i have saw. They seem to come and go and every time they do i have shrimp that die. Could they be the reason? If you know what they are please let me know if they are dangerous to my shrimp and how i might get rid of them.

those look like brine shrimp but a lot ofsubstrates such as eco complet have live hetamorpic bacteria so it is probably something a long those lines

It's hard to tell from the pic, but they look like detritus worms. They are harmless. Keep doing water changes, gravel vacs, and don't overfeed. They will eventually go away.
