I have a young sailfin molly, about an inch long, that's currently living in my betta tank. He was unexpected, found while I was emptying out another tank, and I want to grow him out somewhere. Betta tank seems a bit small for him.
My options are:
A 29g with his mother in it, which I assume would lead to interbred mollies and a hassled molly lady
A 65g containing a warmouth sunfish that would swallow him in one gulp
And a 29g containing, among other things, a purebred female endler. There are other fish to distract him, he won't hassle her to death, but (interesting as it would be) I don't really want endler/molly babies. Is that a genetic possibility?
