Home Depot wood that is not pressure treated, and is seasoned, not dripping sap, is fine for use in an aquarium. It does float though. Long before I would even consider trying to make something of this order, using wood, I would look into using the 3D printing process to make it out of any of the various materials that can now be used in that process, from metal, to plastic, to ceramics.

I would not try any of the wood that I find in the store as tank décor. Much of it is not the best species of wood for our use and it is not fully dry. That combo would give me far more trouble than I would want to sort out in my tanks. An alternate would be finding totally dry wood and having it sawn down to the size and shape wanted.
Many of the items you picture will not work with waterlogged wood as they depend on colors which will change in a variety of ways as the wood soaks.

As long as the piece is not pressure treated, concerns about floating and leaching can be addressed with soaking in advance. Just put the piece you desire in a bucket of water, top with bricks, and leave it. Depending on the thickness of the piece, it might take a couple of months to fully waterlog. You can speed up this process by hollowing the piece out with a dremmel.

Of course lumber and driftwood all come from the same place and there are some woods at HD that would be suitable for the tank but why? As Hoppy pointed out, there are a lot better materials to use.

If you really wanted something like that in your tank why not make it out of something easier and cheaper to work with that's more stable, more fish safe and has a decent life under water?

You'd want the expensive wood section of HD. They're untreated. Get oak wood or some hardwood. They don't sell big blocks of wood, only strips, 1x4 etc..., so you can't make big sculptures out of them. You'll have to find a specialty wood mill shop or go hunting yourself.

You can epoxy glue pieces together but eventually they'll come apart underwater.
