Yes.... Why would the copper content of the lid matter?

Keep them upright and I imagine you'll be fine. I'm not even sure if it would matter anyways. My ball lids are all coated in something, and are steel.

Mason jars also screw into the blade assembly on most, if not all, blenders. Good for grinding up coarser ferts into a finer and more homogenous blend. Spices too.
You can keep ferts in mason jars. No worries about the copper. I usually use those plastic containers from Crystal Light and similar drink mixes though. Good size, easy to spoon from, easy to open.

Only a point not mentioned: Most of our Iron stuff (CSM+B, EDTA/DTPA Fe, Ferrous Sulfate, etc) is sensitive to light. You can effectively avoid this problem with something like a beer cozy over the mason jar or keeping it in a dark place between dosing, of course
