Hello guys,
just wondering if I can cycle my ADA Amazonia tank with simple tap water or does it have to be RODI?

Yea it works fine. Just treat your water with something like prime or whatever to take out the chlorine / chloramines.

No need to treat with prime as there should be no fish in during the cycling.

I thought the whole point of cycling is that you want beneficial bacteria to start the process. If you are putting chlorine into the tank isn't that going to kill the bacteria? With the aquasoil you should also probably do the following water change schedule if you have the diligence:

once a day first week
3 days second week
2 days on third week
1 days on last week > forever
