The plants I purchased arrived with some algae on them. Right now it isn't bothering me, but I don't know if I should be worried about anything taking over the tank.

Each plant seems to have it's own thing going on. The parva has dark hair like things in the base. I thought these might be roots? The hornwort has floating brown filament things in its leaves and the java moss hass tufts of hairy white stuff on it.

I've looked at algae pictures. Is it all brown hair algae maybe? Right now I have the Finnex 24/7 in 24/7 mode. The light is 22" from substrate.

Looks like a little bit of hair algae. If it starts to spread then you will have to do something about it but for now just take a toothbrush and wind up as much as you can the way you would wind spaghetti on a fork and get rid of it.
