I've got a Hydra problem!
'Scuze the nerd ref.
Well, it hasn't necessarily become a problem yet. This is the first time I've been seeing little hydra in my tank, and since I have shrimps and guppy fry, I want them OUT.
Today I was laboriously trying to snatch them with my tweezers, but it was so frustrating that I thought to myself "Hmm...I wonder if hydras and Excel mix." So I took a turkey baster and squirted a little on them. They seem to shrivel up.
Has anybody used this method before? Did it work? When they shrivel up will they come back?
Also, how much Excel can I use before it becomes dangerous for my shrimp? I judge that I might've used about twice the daily dose recommended by Seachem.
