hi guys and gals.

I am going to try and increase my tank ocd and fine tune my ferts. So for this, I need to go from what I was told the size of the tank was to the actual volume of water I am using. But I am also have a bow front tank.

So I need some help determing the size. O.D. is 12 x 22 x 48. And about 18" at the bow.

Then there's gravel and wood.

If the bow starts @ 12 inches and goes to 18 inches .. then calculate it using 15 inches which would be the average depth.

Using the formulas from this site, I estimate your total tank area (ignoring gravel and wood) at approximately 73.3 gallons.

thanx, I was told by the seller 72. And another person maybe 90. At least now I know.

Those dimensions, its a 72.

A 90 would be just 48x18x24

A 90 bowfront would be 48x18x30 with 12 inches at the sides
