calcium deficiency at 14Gh?

This might be a dumb question but is calcium deficiency possible at 14Gh? I ask this because I'm seeing the symptoms as described in

Distorted leaf growth
cupped leaves
twisted and bent leaves
twisted and short roots
Damage and die off of growing points

No dumb questions...

GH is mainly Ca and Mg, and if they are out of what at such high levels you can see deficiency symptoms. There are discussions where overage of one nutrient can hinder uptake of the other. If you can find out the levels of Ca and Mg in your water you might find some causes.

Do you see these problems with all plants? Some plants just don't like to grow in hard water, and rather than trying to fix things for them, a good solution might be to rip them out and replace them with hardier ones.
