I found out after getting my fire red female that the color morph is a form of leucism actually. Do you think that may be why there was trouble breeding or do you think it was just conditions? Have you successfully bred other agassiziis?
I did not hear about the leucistic nature of the fish? I will have to investigate that ,THANKS!
I am at a loss as why they would not breed.I started with 6 that matured into 4 males and 2 females.2 of them males were very submissive ,while two males were dominant.
I tried trios, pairs, switching mates, all back together again in a 33long....I was so happy when another forum friend asked me if I wanted to trade them!:grin2:
I want to try them again , just no those 6!
I have bred my hongslio to the point of giving them away local as I can't sell all, and selling one of my trios...Just pulled eggs a week or two ago, should probably look again soon...
And have had 3 successful breedings recently with my iniridae...
I though a year was pretty patient ,but I have worked fish longer to get success, I just didn't feel it witht hese fish?
No other agazzisii for me .
