My cabomba is shedding a ton and yellowing. About two weeks ago I spread it out so it could get more light - though it hasn't seemed to help. New growth on top is red. Plant as a whole is growing rapidly.

Ferts: Aqueon Plant Food 1x weekly & Flourish Iron daily (will not dose excel because of my shrimp)

No Co2

Low output LED light (6watts) 8hrs a day.

do you have the red variety of cabomba? i heard it's a little more delicate then the green strain. It might be due to a nutrient deffiency and lac of co2. i've dosed exel in my shrimp tanks and they were fine. or you could do diy co2
