Buying plants online?

919 Views 6 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  sohankpatel
Wondering if anyone buys their plants online and where they get them from?
We have 2 local fish stores, but they sell a pretty limited supply of plants and types.
I've ordered plants online once, but I forget where it was.. I was also sent very immature plants and they ended up not doing well. Is that the standard, do all online places just sell tiny immature plants?

Anyways, thanks in advance. :)

Online is one of the only ways for many of us to get something other than banana plants.

Many forums are great places to buy. Here is a great place to start. I personally have some up for sale. Also there are other places like Dr foster and Smith, AquaBid.com, fleabay, etc. I feel other hobbiest are best. Most of us are wanting to help others be successful and are willing to work with people when things mess up in shipping.

I've almost exclusively used this site. Definitely the place!
Awesome! I'd love to support other hobbyist in buying plants from them. I always prefer to shop at the small locally owned fish store down the road, rather than run over to petco/petsmart. So if anyone is selling plants, do send over your websites and I'll definitely check them out!
Buy here! The best prices and you can get anything!
My local fish club is great, members bring plants to meetings, and you just pick through them, it's all free. Most of the time the plants are of amazing quality as well.
