Bumble Bee Goby - species tank

Hi all!

I'm planning on setting up a 12 gallon bumble bee goby (Brachygobius xanthozona) tank. I've been doing some research and realize that they really would do better in a brackish set-up.

That said, I was wondering if anyone could confirm breeding them in a freshwater-only environment? If not, what exactly is a brackish-setting and what kind of plants would do well in that environment? I was planning on using low-light only plants like Java moss.

Thanks for any help!

Sweet, I missed those. Thanks for finding them!
they do ok in freshwater, but dont add co2 or at least not to much (its best to keep the ph as high as possible). mine didnt breed though, just killed the other one.
