It's been a super long time... I purchased a 32" BML fixture back in 2013, and it just stopped working. I'm hoping to get in touch with them about whether or not they've got any old stock so I can try replacing the ballast. I know they got out of the aquarium game around 2016, but does anyone know if they're still in business?

I've got a 6' unit on my main tank as well... bit nervous about that one going out, so it might be time to replace that too if BML is no longer around at all.

thanks

They quit building aquarium lights quite a while back. I think the cannabis growing market is probably much stronger than the planted aquarium market. They apparently formed this new company. https://fluence.science/

It seems like the ownership has changed now too.

"Ballast" is a constant current power supply most likely made by inventronics .

Meanwell is a possible replacement though usually not an
exact match

Hmm, change of ownership and all that, I assume old stock might be difficult to find... but I'll see if I've got any luck

Yeah, I'm going to see what I can find on and in the inverter to see if I can find the supplier. Worst case, I can find something similar based on the labeled inputs/ouputs.

Number is Inventronics number but believe the "LUC" series is discontinued.
