Swimmimg on top of my floating plants. All you can see is movement in the tank, but under the microscope ( we homeschool so I have one ;). It is lime green six legs Beatle looking with two very active antennae and two small spokes out the back side.

Any guesses? Can't find a picture of it on line and can't take one cause their too small to show up.

Is it gonna hurt the plants or fish?

I think I agree, they do look like aphids, I do see some darker ones, brown or black floating on leaves. Now I have duckweed and hornwort floating. How do I get rid of them?

I had to medicate my tank due to popeye on neons so I am recycling the tank now, which means I really need these plants to help with the ammonia spikes.

I have tetras and ottos in the tank and various other submerged, planted plants.
