They look like aphids.

yep, aphids. They're a royal pain to get rid of. I had to manually submerge anything floating once a day, let the aphids float to the top, then net up any that I saw.

Do this every day for weeks on end. When their numbers started to decrease, I then started squishing any I saw between my fingers while cackling maniacally..

After a month or so, they finally disappeared.

As shown in the above photo, they use a stylet (needle-like) mouth part to pierce through leaf surface.

When they get on to your skin, they will try to pierce through your skin with their stylet. Very itchy. Get rid of them ASAP!

Ugh so sorry dude.. Just toss these plants. I have healthy frog bit you can have for free.

New aphids will just move in to the new frog bits. Never get rid of them permanently.

I submerge the leaves and the fish swarm around eating aphids.
