I'm having problems with Eeleocharis Parvula and a Myriophyllum Mezianum that I planted about 2 weeks ago. Older leafs are going brown and looking pretty sad. New shoots are nice and green though.
I'm thinking I might have problems with algae but there isn't any algae anywhere else in the tank but I guess that could be because I have some Oto's and Siamese Flying Foxes.
Is this due to a Algea problem, Water quality, Nutrients or just being recently planted?
Current Readings are:
PH 7-7.2
KH: 10
GH: 14-16
NO3: 25-50
No2: 0
The NO3 I don't quite understand as I've done 2x 30% water changes in the last 4 days as I'm trying to get my hardness down with RO water. The filter should be mature but maybe I've managed to kill off some of the bactaria or something.. I didn't use to have high NO3 at all.
Could anyone maybe identify what the problem might be, see images:
