My Ludwiga has brown algae or what I think is brown algae. When I first put it in the tank the older leaves got it and I cut them off. But now its back and is covering some of the newer leaves and some of the stems.

What should I do?

I don't have a very good camera but I can try.

Can't really get any good pictures at all.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

We can't tell which algae this is. Can you describe it? Sounds like bba but without a picture it's hard to say for certain.
What are you dosing and what is the lighting on the aquarium?

Well it grows on the leaves its brown and it sort of reminds me of grass. I once put a leaf in a cup of Flourish Excel and it didn't kill any of the algae. But its not stringy its very short.

So my best guess is that i should remove the Ludwiga and cut off all infected leaves and stems OR should I try using the H202 spot treatment?

*Really don't want to take the Ludwiga out since it will make my water cloudy and I am sort of sick so doing a water change doesn't sound the best thing to do.

I guess I am going to be taking them out and doing the "Bleach Dip". I should have did more research and not shrugging it off as Brown Algae since I had just started the tank up at the time. o well
