Hello all, I think my bristlenose have done their second spawn. The male has been in the cave for a good 11 days now so I moved the whole thing along with him into my fry tank. When I moved the cave a khulie loach came out. The cave is big with tons of little nooks and crannies so I cant see in. I havent seen any fry since I moved it and im starting to think that the khulie loach may have eaten the eggs. The father pleco still hasnt left the cave so I hope he was able to guard his eggs. Does anyone think the loach could have gotten them or would the male pleco be a good enough guard? Please help.

It could be either way. Seeing the Kuhlie Loach in the cave suggests that the BN was tolerating him in there. This means to me that either there are (were) no eggs, or else the Kuhlie does not eat eggs.

I would think that if the Kuhlie tried eating them the BN would protect the eggs, and chase out the Kuhlie.
