I want to breed my Silvertipped tetra and Lemon Tetra. From what I have read on line you just put them in a dimly lit tank with spawning mops. Keep temp around 75-78°F.

It is not always as simple as what you read though when dealing with nature. Thus would like to know from experience 1s if this all you do.

I've never bred tetras so I have no personal experience on how to do it. But you'll need very soft water in addition to dim lighting. Condition them with live foods for two weeks and the females will be plump with eggs. Then add the males.
